Anglesey is loved for its natural beauty.  It is understated as a destination and enjoys stunning beaches and landscapes.  The perfect destination for seaside holidays within easy reach, with so much more to explore and something for everyone.

Water activities include all year-round swimming by some!  Kayaking and paddle boarding are popular with sailing in Summer.  Rhosneigr, a 20 minute drive, is a kite and windsurfers paradise.

Golf.  A challenging heathland 18- hole Championship golf course nearby in Holyhead with some of the best greens and views to be found in Wales.

Walker’s Paradise.  The coastal landscape and habitats area designated ANOB covering one third of Anglesey with the circular walk around Holy Island considered one of the best sections of the Wales Coast Path.

Outings with Little Ones

There is much to see and explore: Lighthouses, Castles, The Maritime Museum, Plas Newydd, The Hidden Gardens, Adventure Parks etc
Snowdonia / Eryri National Park is a 40-minute drive away.  Adventure here includes Zipworld, the longest and fastest in Europe, Mountain biking with family friendly trails, or maybe a gentle railway ride with a picnic.

Places to Eat are within walking distance with the Seacroft Gastro pub popular at the bottom of the lane.  Walking along the beach front to the village centre you find a Post Office and shop for essentials with a lovely Deli across the road offering coffee and a bakery.  Called The Stores, it is also has the best artisan pizzas and an outdoor bar serving cocktails with a Mediterranean vibe.  Close by is the Sea Shanty, a family restaurant with an ice cream parlour.  My favourite fish and chips are from Enochs in Valley, and The White Eagle at Rhoscolyn, is a welcome treat at the end of a beautiful coastal walk.
